Vice President, Human Resources & Chief People Officer
Frances Sinha is responsible for driving strategic HR direction and expertise. She is in charge of global people strategy and executes on IAVI’s vision as a thought partner to the senior management team. She guides the HR team to ensure the smooth execution of daily human resources operations and provides advisory services for leadership, coaching, employee relations, compensation, organizational design, and other HR disciplines.
Prior to joining IAVI, Sinha served as the head of human resources for Human Rights Watch, responsible for all aspects of HR management. Prior to that, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and held other senior positions in the United Nations such as Chief Training Officer. Additionally, Sinha worked as a lawyer with the UN Office for Drugs and Crime and law firms in the U.S. and U.K.
She holds a B.A. from DePaul University and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.
