Subject to the IAVI’s Terms of Use found on IAVI’s website, IAVI provides the Website indiscriminately to visitors worldwide for informational purposes and to further its charitable purpose.

Navigation Information

We collect certain information automatically when visitors navigate the website www.iavi.org (“Visitors” and the “Website,” respectively).

Donor Information

Online donors must input their name and payment information on the Website in order to make donations. We have access to donor contact information for purposes of communicating with our donors, including contacting them about future donations. The names of large donors may be recognized on the Website and in other publications, but donors are also free to donate anonymously by checking the applicable box on the donation webpage.

IAVI does not store any credit-card or bank account information for any reason. In the case of online donations made to IAVI on our Website, the donor’s personal information is collected by a third party payment processor solely for the legitimate purposes of processing the designated donation.  Any payment information that you provide is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypted in our payment processor’s database.

Job Application Information

The Website contains information about career opportunities at IAVI and related employment information. If interested in seeing specific job availability and/or to submit job applications, visitors are linked to a third party portal (the “Employment Portal”).

IAVI obtains job applicant information, including Personal Data, through a private secure portal on its Employment Portal. Job applicants’ Personal Data will be used only for our legitimate interests which includes making hiring decisions; maintaining records as required by law; and for assessing compliance with employment laws.

IAVI’s Website contains links to third-party websites. Our inclusion of a link is not intended to constitute an endorsement of or affiliation with the owner or sponsor of such websites. IAVI is not responsible for the contents of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website.
