VP, Public Policy

Holly Wong, MPP, has 25 years of experience in international health policy and management in both the public and private sectors. Holly leads a team of policy analysts, oversees policy research and analysis for IAVI, and contributes to the organization's strategic planning and general operations. Prior to joining IAVI, she led international policy work at a major pharmaceutical company and at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. Before that, she had focused on health sector financing and reform programs in developing countries, and worked with a variety of development banks, international organizations, consulting firms and academia. Her areas of expertise are HIV and AIDS policy as well as health financing and economics. She has professional experience in more than 30 countries, and has working knowledge of Spanish, French and Chinese. Holly received her masters in public policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and her BA in political science from Stanford University.
