The Board of Directors is the governing body of IAVI. It is responsible for providing strategic guidance and exercising oversight of the organization. Its principal areas of focus are IAVI’s mission, executive management, resource development, finances, programs and organization policies.
The Board currently consists of 14 directors, elected for staggered three-year terms. Board members bring a wide range of expertise and experience to IAVI from government and industry and from private foundations and non-governmental organizations.
A chief executive officer leads the organization and serves as an ex-officio member of the Board.
