IAVI is now in its second decade of working to ensure the development of safe,
effective preventive HIV vaccines for use throughout the world. As we commemorated IAVI's 10th
anniversary in 2006, we took a retrospective look at how far the field has come since the mid-1990s —
when the world was paying little attention to AIDS vaccines — to looking towards the future and
finding an AIDS vaccine in the upcoming years. |
