An easy way to increase the impact of your gift
Employers are increasingly making it easier for employees to support the causes that mean the most to them—and offering programs that can increase the impact of their gifts.
Workplace campaigns allow you to donate to IAVI with a simple payroll deduction that will spread your gift over the course of the year, reflecting your steady commitment to the quest for an AIDS vaccine.
Why give through a workplace campaign?
- Ease. Workplace giving campaigns offer employees the chance to make a lasting commitment with a one-time pledge
- Efficiency. Workplace campaigns help alleviate the burden of fundraising, leaving more resources available for programmatic work
- Credibility. Global Impact (a workplace giving manager) represents more than 50 of the most respected United States-based international charities in workplace giving campaigns for federal employees and across the U.S.
- Impact. Small donations from many employees add up. Your employer may even match your donation, thereby increasing your contribution
IAVI’s Combined Federal Campaign code is 12173 and we are listed under AIDS Vaccine Initiative, International. The code for state, local, and private-sector campaigns varies by campaign, so please look for IAVI or AIDS Vaccine Initiative in your campaign brochure, or check with your coordinator.
Many companies match the contributions of their employees and their spouses, and retirees—a simple way to increase your gifts and become part of your organization’s philanthropic commitment. Companies know that matching charitable gifts is a meaningful demonstration of support for employees and their visions for a better world.
Your human resources department can tell you whether your company has a matching gift program. Ask for a matching gift form, complete it, and send it to IAVI at the address below with your donation. We will verify receipt of your gift and submit the form to your company.
