Support from our corporate partners is integral to our success; we simply could not do all we do without the sustained support of our corporate partners. IAVI believes that much can be achieved in our work through meaningful collaboration with the business sector.
Corporate giving comes in many forms: grants restricted to a specific project, purpose or research area; unrestricted grants, which allow IAVI to direct the funding to areas where it is most urgently needed; corporate sponsorships; and donation of in-kind equipment, materials or services.
Many corporations also support matching gift programs, which can amplify the philanthropic actions of their employees, and hasten progress toward the development of an effective and accessible HIV vaccine.
We are always happy to explore ways to tailor opportunities to provide support that is mutually beneficial to IAVI and our corporate funders. Naming opportunities, for example, are an excellent way to achieve prominent recognition for your organization’s support for ending the AIDS pandemic.
We take every opportunity to update and engage our corporate funders and keep them involved in our efforts. In addition to regular reporting, our funders are welcome to observe our work firsthand–by taking a tour of one of our labs: the AIDS Vaccine Design and Development Lab in New York; the IAVI Neutralizing Antibody Center at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif.; or the Human Immunology Laboratory in London, which works closely with several clinical research centers in sub-Saharan Africa.
